Those of you fortunate enough to having been on board will know what people talk about when referring to the charm, vibe and energy of this stage. Being more than just a facade or backdrop, this holistic stage complex will make you participate in its concept rather than just observing it from a spectator’s perspective. For four days, the ship’s hold will lock you in its planks and make you feel the warmth of the earth until the next year. Our friends at Falovel completed the stage area with their own culinary delights. Due to the stage’s no-photo-policy, we are only able to provide you with a brief insight.

"Rum there and dowels,
View more colorful, not duller.
Come down, look over, go under, stay over."

The whole projects started with scouting for the right spot for a new “chillout area” on the premise. Somehow, this place managed to find us rather than vice versa and seemed to be missing just this: an aground ship and its crew. Contrary to its initial purpose, this ship soon became a hidden gem for visitors with penchant for small details and proper sound systems. Since the beginning of this project, we have been thankful for the dundst° crew which embraced this place and made it what it is – more than a stage & almost an institution. Somewhere in our hearts, we will always see it as our secondary residency.

Egenberger

The memories never stopped to resonate within the halls and walls of this absurd location: A former communications intercept station – a relict from the cold war – built on a mountain of rubble right next to Berlin’s Grunewald. (Having hosted another event there the year before,) the “Teufelsberg” (devil’s hill) seemed like the ideal spot for the pre-event for Meadows in the Mountains Festival which takes place in Bulgaria’s marvelous mountains. This area, while being both breathtaking and super unique, demanded for creative solutions in terms of logistics and infrastructure. Needless to say that all the efforts were worth more than imagined.

As breathtaking and unique as this area on the Teufelsberg definitely is, as versatile was the technical and logistical planning of this event.

Line-Up: Mirko Hector | Harry Charles | Alice Phoebe Lou | Hush Moss | Bakery | Olmo Mathilda | God shit | Mbius | Bruno Schmidt | Luis Ake | luxxury problems | Aatu van Hinnen | Jane Ulé | Mat Fink | Yuzo Iwata | Synth & Ouzo | Bulgaria Voices

Days of planning, technical project agreements, a joint booking with MitM, the design of the floors and the creation of a new infrastructure in these halls and cellars, some of which were completely dark, were both exciting and highly demanding. With the concerts on the upper platform and the subsequent relocation to the halls and cellars of the building, a varied overall concept was created. This collaboration and choice of location was largely due to the Scofield Brothers and the smooth implementation was the result of the collective power of the dundstkreis. All on behalf of the Meadows in the Mountains Festival. Best wishes also go out to the ProSieben team.
Never ever forget these days!
